-UPDATE- Over the past couple of weeks Clayton has been in quite a bit of pain in his back, side and upper left leg. He has still been doing chemo every other week and for the most part it has been working, keeping the spots we have been watching at bay, but because of the severe pain he has been having they decided to do an MRI of his spine and lumbar to see what was going on. The MRI showed that the lesion on his L4-L5 still looked ok (this is the one he had radiation done on previously when we were trying to leave for clinical trials), and the lesion on his T4 looked good, even though that area has been causing a lot of pain. He does have some growth on his T9 and on a posterior rib, so his radiation oncologist decided to go ahead and radiate that area and his T4 since it is also causing so much pain. He is having a chemo treatment done today, so they will start radiation next week. He will have a series of 10 radiation treatments every day for 10 days. During those 10 days he will skip one of his chemo treatments just so his body is not taking on too much but then he will resume his chemo treatments like normal. Please be praying that the radiation that he will start next week will help take care of the pain that he is in. Right now he is having to take pain meds pretty much around the clock just to scratch the surface of pain management, and a lot of times that doesn’t help at all. We are hoping that after his chemo treatment today that it will help relieve some of the pain also. It has been a while since we have done an update, but we have really not had any news since we are just doing chemo every other week and have not had anything come up until now with the pain and MRI. Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us and this long journey. We look forward to the day when we can send out an update where we don’t have to ask for prayer anymore, and can celebrate God doing the impossible in healing Clayton’s body

Clayton,
As my 99 and 4 month year old mother in law said before she passed away a few months ago… “Keep a goin!” Always in our prayers ~
