From Darby: First round of chemo...check! We are headed home after being at the hospital since 830 this morning and things went great! Clayton did well with the chemo and still feels good right now, so we are just praying that the chemo starts to attack the cancer and help with pain as well! The main side effect on this chemo is cold sensitivity. He has a very small sensitivity right now so praying it stays there and doesn’t get worse. It’s supposed to completely pass in 2-3 days regardless. He will continue to take the chemo pills at home for the next two weeks and have one week off from all chemo before he starts his second infusion three weeks from today. Thank you all so much for praying! Today was a big step in the right direction!

I work at the hospital and met someone yesterday who had stage 4 colon cancer and is now in recovery and looks very good and healthy. I told her about you and how seeing her gave me so much hope for you to get through this! I hope this will give you the same hope. I have complete faith that God will get you and your family through this, continued prayers for you guys ❤️
