From Darby: Treatment 3 update! God is answering our prayers!! Clayton’s CEA numbers (the markers that show the presence of cancer in his body is DOWN AGAIN! They were 13.0 before we started treatment, went down to 8.4 after the first treatment, and are now at 5.1!!! We are thanking God for encouraging news with those numbers dropping! We are definitely not out of the woods yet..there is still a very likely chance he will have to have surgery to remove the mass in his colon, another possible surgery to remove the tumor in his abdomen area (a different doctor would do this one). We will also have to reevaluate the spots in his chest once we rescan to see what exactly we are dealing with in that area, and then go from there. Still a very long road ahead of us but we are SO THANKFUL for positive news! His Dr wants to rescan after his 4th treatment, which will be March 11th. So after he feels better from the side effects of that one, we will rescan and really see what’s going on and how his body is responding. We have also moved the remainder of his treatments to Mondays in hopes that he will be able to teach a little more! Please continue to pray for the treatments to work, for his body to tolerate them as well as possible (we have a lot of baseball, track and gymnastics coming up!) and for us to continue to rely on Him. These treatment weeks are TOUGH in so many ways, but we know God is with us. Each one of your prayers mean the world to us - thank you for interceding for us every day!!

Awesome! You are still in my prayers Clayton. You can't believe how that disease is affecting my immediate familia and friends. So happy to hear the numbers are in the right direction. Take care kid!
