We met today with Clayton‘s nurse administrator who went over how all of this treatment will work and which chemotherapy he will be taking. She is amazing and so helpful! We also just got the phone call that Clayton will go in tomorrow at 11 AM for his port to be placed! His oncologist's office called as well and they are moving his chemo treatment to Thursday instead of Friday this week! He will also be starting his chemo pills on Thursday since that is the day he will start his IV chemo. Please be praying for comfort as his port is placed tomorrow and for minimal side effects for this first round of treatment! He has been in quite a bit of pain recently, and they are working to find something he can take to help so that will be a huge answer to prayer. It’s a really big week, and honestly there’s some anxiousness that comes with all of the treatments starting. We are very ready to attack the cancer, but also nervous about what the results will be.
